Partner of EasyPay, Ria has won an award for being the\u00a0Most Reliable Money Transfer Company\u00a0<\/strong>in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Awarded by the\u00a0Weekly Desh<\/em><\/strong>, a popular local newspaper which serves Bengali and Bangladeshi communities in the UK, the honor recognizes Ria\u2019s dedication to providing a reliable and trustworthy service to the thousands of people who choose to patronize its services each month.<\/p>\n

Ria\u2019s Managing Director for UK & Ireland, Marcela Gonzalez, receives the Most Reliable Money Transfer Company award on behalf of the UK team from Taysir Mahmud, CEO of Weekly Desh Newspaper<\/strong><\/p>\n

The award was given during\u00a0a ceremony which took place in London\u2019s Canary Wharf, where staff from Ria were present.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are humbled and honored to receive this award from\u00a0Weekly Desh<\/em>, which is an integral part of one of the communities we serve,\u201d said\u00a0Ria\u2019s Managing Director for UK & Ireland, Marcela Gonzalez.<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cIt was quite unexpected, but a very pleasant surprise!\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis type of recognition\u00a0lets us know we are on the right path and reinforces our mantra: to put the customer at the heart of what we do. We will remain\u00a0the most reliable company and keep delivering great service and value to the Bengali and Bangladeshi communities, as well as the others that we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n

The team has been working hard to open locations in communities with the aim of being as\u00a0accessible to its customers as possible. And the inauguration of the newest store at\u00a069 Whitechapel High Street<\/a>\u00a0in London, reaffirms the company\u2019s commitment to reaching the communities. According to ward statistics,\u00a038 per cent of the population<\/a>\u00a0in the Whitechapel community are listed as being of Bangladeshi origin, with more than 600,000 Bangladeshi people in the UK.<\/p>\n

Ria\u2019s Business Development Manager, Bangladesh, Mr Tanvir Alam,\u00a0<\/strong>said of the new store: \u201cThe Whitechapel store\u00a0is a great example of the Ria retail brand in the local community. It\u2019s open\u00a0for business seven days a week, making it more convenient for our customers to make a transaction, be that a money transfer or currency exchange.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Ria\u2019s Whitechapel store is the latest addition to the UK retail network, there are more company-owned stores planned to open this year.\u00a0Ria also recently opened an office in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to offer even better customer service to beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
