EasyPay participates for the first time ever at the Money 2020 Conference in Copenhagen, alongside thousands of most important companies in the world including Google, AirBnb, Western Union, Silicon Valley Bank etc.
Money20/20 organizes the largest global events enabling payments and financial services innovation for connected commerce at the intersection of mobile, retail, marketing services, data and technology. With 11,000+ attendees, including more than 1,700 CEOs & Presidents, from over 4,500 companies and 85 countries at its 2016 U.S. event, Money20/20 is critical to realizing the vision of disruptive ways in which consumers and businesses manage, spend and borrow money.
We met with many European and American fintech and payment companies and media outlets.
Money 20/20 once again brought together leaders of Fintechs, Payments and Money Transfer sectors. Around 1707 companies attended this year’s conference while more than 4000 attendees included CEO-s, COOs, CMOs, journalists etc.
The conference kicked off with CEOs of Barclays, Rabobank, and BBVA having the keynote speeches.
Moreover, there were plenty of discussions around mainly the fintechs, bank (r)evolutions, announcements, different case studies etc.

Moving on to day two, there were a variety of talks from industry experts, with a main focus on authentication and advanced technology.
Gemalto’s CEO, Philippe Vallee, spoke about the authentication of clients when completing a transaction. While he did not want to compromise with security, he said that there would rather be zero authentication.
This is a very interesting point where financial institutions/electronic money institutions like EasyPay face dilemmas on a daily basis.
There we plenty of other speakers and EasyPay met with some very important companies aiming to explore different ways of collaborations to continue revolutionizing the Digital Payments in the region.
